2025 Storm Season: Are You Ready?
Every year, North Texas experiences 50-80 days of severe thunderstorm potential. The question isn't whether storms will come — it's whether your roof is ready when they do.
Pre-Season Preparation (Do This in February-March)
1. Schedule a Professional Inspection
Before storm season kicks off, have a professional assess your roof's condition. We'll identify vulnerable areas that could fail under storm stress:
2. Clean Your Gutters

3. Trim Trees
Overhanging branches are the #1 cause of preventable storm damage. Trim branches back at least 6 feet from your roof. Remove any dead limbs that could fall.
4. Check Your Attic
Make sure your attic ventilation is working properly. Proper ventilation helps equalize pressure during high winds, reducing the chance of shingles being ripped off.
5. Review Your Insurance Policy
